Kissing Sierra good-by special event at Mission Demo.

This is an event open to all of the racing community on August 15th 2007. This will be the day before Sierra shuts down it's race servers for good. There will be no password on our server for this event, so all are welcome to attend.

You will need to download this modified version of Mission Demo here.

The Simcar.Info Race Server will be setup between 5:30 - 6:00 pm Pacific time (8:30 - 9:00 pm Eastern time). If you miss the start check back as we will restart after each race until we get shut down or have had enough.

Practice before each race 15 minutes

length 10% - 32 laps

Damage - off

Weather calm and 70

Pit frequency 4x

Pit speed is 99 MPH, your spotter will tell you 70 MPH..... He lies, it's 99 MPH.

Ai cars added for a field of about 30 - 35 cars

No qualifying, after practice we go right to the race.

All humans will start in the back, random start.

The object is to survive. When you wreck recover as fast as you can and continue the race. If you get upside down or stuck in the wall / fence, you can hit esc key and call a tow. You will have to make 1 to 2 pit stops, but you will not need to take tires. We run this track after some of our point races and find it a blast and a great way to unwind a hard race. I can't think of a better way to destroy our LPI as an average race you will have 5 to 15 incidents depending on how lucky you are and how good you are at avoiding other cars. Come on out and join us one last time on the Sierra servers for some fun and a good laugh.

Hey speedfreaks, the 2007 FNFL schedule is out! This is probably the most diverse, challenging, and exciting season in open wheel sim history! From the high banks of Daytona and Talladega, through the streets of Long Beach, to the short tracks in Richmond, Phoenix and Milwaukee. Through the rolling hills of Riverside, Laguna Seca and Infineon on the West Coast, to Watkins Glen, Bridgehampton and Road Atlanta on the East Coast. Mid-America gives us Road America, Mid Ohio and the flyin' fun at Cleveland's Burke Lakefront Airport. Then there are the superspeedways at Michigan, California and of course, Indianapolis. The 30 race schedule includes 18 ovals, 11 road courses and 1 street circuit. We will continue using the F1 scoring system, with the top 10 scoring points (1st-12pts, 2nd-10pts, 3rd-8pts, 4th-7pts, 5th-6pts, 6th-5pts, 7th-4pts,  8th-3pts, 9th-2pts, 10th-1pt)  and 1 point awarded for pole position. Also this year we will have an October Chase that will include one race at each type of track run in the FNFL. Details of the Chase will be finalized by midseason, as a couple of scenarios are being considered. I will be sending out an email on the subject and getting everyone's opinion. So get ready for some high speed racing that promises to be exciting from the drop of the green at Daytona until the checkered at Surfer's Paradise!
