The 7th Annual Indianapolis 300 Tuesday Nights Simcar SimRoc Series Wednesday Nights Simcar Cup Series

To race you will need to download the track if you don't already have it. When you signup for this event I will send you the link to the track.
Races will be on select Friday nights, check the Calendar for dates. The Server will be started about 6:00pm. First race at 6:30 pm Races are 32 laps (10%) 3 Point races every race night! Pit frequency 4x No Cautions No Damage Weather Clear, 70, no wind
Open setup, I will send you the setup I use with the track info. Pit speed is 99 MPH (your spotter will say 70, but you can do 99) You will not need tires when you pit Each race will start right after practice. Practice may be shortened after race 2. No Happy Hour, no qualifying. Random start with all humans starting in the back behind 21 AI cars. The first 3 races of the night will count for points. The winner of each race will receive 1 point for the win. The Champion will be the driver with the most points at the end of the series. If we may run more than 3 races for fun, only the first three will count for points. We try not to wreck humans but feel free to let you favorite driver have it. None of Simcar's rules will apply for this series, only game rules. The track has a lot of grip and no tire wear.

This is a 7 race series running from December 13th through February 7th. Your best 5 races will count. This Series runs fixed setup, constant weather (70 degrees, clear and no wind) and drivers can use driving aids, although not recommended.
This series will race on Tuesday nights; the server will be started at about 6:00 PM Pacific time, Qualifying at 6:30 PM the race follows a 10 minutes Happy Hour.
This series is open to all members.
All races will be: Tuesdays (see Calendar), Qualifying at 6:30pm Pacific Time 30% Length 2x Pit Frequency Fixed Fast setup Moderate Damage Cautions on Weather clear 70, no wind No Forced View Driving Aids may be used
We are working on a point system for the Winter series to try. One that may be closer to NASCAR than what we are currently using. If you have any ideas let me know. We will score your 5 best out of the 7 races. When we finalize the point system it will be posted here and at the latest with the 1st race email.
Rules for this series: In addition to the basic Simcar.Info rules, the rules for this event can be found here. Where different the rules for this series will prevail. We may limit the number of participants to this series, at Simcar.Info's discretion.
If you would like to reserve a spot and your car number send an email with the event(s) you would like to run in and your car number. Car numbers are first come first serve. Drivers currently running will be given priority.
The review committee may use any combination of event rules and the Simcar.Info rules to penalize a driver for overaggressive driving or unsportsmanlike conduct.
This series is free for all members.

The 7th Annual Simcar.Info 300 Mile Indianapolis Open Wheel Race May 28th.
All participants must sign up for this event and if you haven't raced the Indy in the last two years attend at least one practice race before the event.
We will be using the Simcar Open Wheel mod. This mod is based on the Cup physics and allows for more realistic speeds at Indy. You will receive all that you need by email after you sign-up.
To Run the Indy 300 you will need to download and install the Simcar OW Mod. I will send you a link to the file after you sign-up. The down load will include the track and most of our cars.
The main event will be held Saturday May 28th, 2011. The server will be started for practice at 11:30 am Pacific time. Qualifying at 12:45 pm Pacific time with a 10 minute Happy Hour.
Practice races will be held on various days in May, others may be added as needed. Check the Practice Schedule for days and times for that week. You can check the Calendar for all practice race dates.
The race will be:
120 Laps - 300 Miles Fixed Fast setup Moderate damage Hard core - no driving aids allowed, you may use any driving view. Cautions on Weather clear and 45
There will be no bonus points for leading a lap or leading the most laps in this race.
Simcar.Info rules will apply. Event specific rules may be added if needed. Any changes will be included in the drivers meeting email sent before the event.
